Pocket Full of Rulers

Join us to make a cute and handy ruler bag, perfect to take your supplies to retreat or to sew with friends. This bag holds rulers inside with custom pockets to fit all your specialty rulers. Three outside pockets hold 6″ wide rulers of various lengths. The Pocket Full of Rulers bag was designed by a quilting instructor, Jerrine Kirsch for Bella Nonna and has been a hit with the quilting world! A great way to show off those decorative stitches on your machine. The bag finishes at 21"x26"

Pocket Full of Rulers Bag Pattern by Bella Nonna

Fabric as listed on pattern:
Outside bag - 1 ½ yd or 30 strips of fabric cut various widths of 1.5" to 3.5" x 22" long (Jelly roll works great!)
Pockets (front outside) - 3 FQs or 3 - ¼ yd cuts of fabric
Bag Lining and inside pockets - 2 yards + 3 FQ for pocket variety
Binding & straps - 2/3 yd
SF101 - 2 yd
Mistyfuse - 2 yds or 1 pkg of 20" x 90"
ByAnnie Soft & Stable 36"x58" package
4 yards of 1" wide webbing to cover or decorative webbing for the handles

Long ruler - 5" x 24"
Fabric marking pen/pencil
Thread in coordinating colors
**Walking Foot for your specific sewing machine, you will be quilting the front pieces so the walking foot is very important***

Basic Sewing Supplies:
Sewing machine w/ electric cord & foot pedal
Sewing machine manual
New machine needles
Spare empty bobbins
Rotary Cutter (45mm is great)
Thread Snips
Seam Ripper
Small ruler (at least 6” x 12”)
Heat Resistant straight pins (longer is better)
Fabric Clips
Fabric marking pen or pencil

Class Prep:

If you are using fabric strips for the outside front & back, sew them together to measure 22" x 27". Make 2 sets.

OR

If you are using yardage for the outside front & back, trim to 22" x 27". Make 2.

Cut OUTSIDE pockets per pattern instructions, (Outside Front Pockets and Pocket Linings on pattern). DO NOT cut inner pockets, you will cut these in class

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Not Your Mama’s Quilt Store. Due to the high number of late-notice cancellations, our cancellation policy has been updated:

• All refunds are provided in the form of store credit.
• In the case that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel at least 5 days prior to class date for a FULL refund* in store credit.
• If you cancel 4 days prior to class, there is a 50% forfeiture fee deducted from your class fee. You may choose to transfer to another class if available, with a $20 transfer fee plus additional registration fee if applicable.
• If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your class fee is 100% forfeited. Transfer to another class is not available with less than a 3 day cancellation.
