Create a beautiful Round Rosie Runner that's guaranteed to brighten your table and your sewing room. This charming project features cheerful floral-inspired blocks that's much easier to make than it looks.

Join us as we break the process down step-by-step, sharing tips and techniques along the way. By the end of class, you'll have the beginnings of a gorgeous runner and a newfound appreciation for how a few simple shapes can blossom into something spectacular.

Sort fabrics by value.

Make a free-form, round log cabin.

Supply List:

Basic Sewing Supplies (below)

Round Rosie Runner Pattern

Fabric (scraps work great, but strips should be 1.5" or wider and of various lengths) organized into large zip bags:

  • (8-10) ? yd cuts of various shades of pink (dark ro medium/light) for roses
  • (8-10) ? yd cuts of various shades of green for leaves
  • 1/2 yd for backing
  • 1/4 yd for binding

Add - a - quarter ruler (optional, but helpful)

8.5" x 10" or larger ruler (optional, but helpful for 8.5" square blocks)

4.5" x 4.5" ruler (optional, but helpful)

Mini iron and Ironing pad (optional, but helpful)


Class Homework:

Iron fabric.

Bring your Basic Sewing Supplies to every class:

Sewing machine w/ electric cord & foot pedal

Sewing machine manual

Sewing machine needles

Spare empty bobbins

Rotary Cutter (45mm is great)

Thread Snips

Seam Ripper

Small ruler (at least 6” x 12”)

Heat Resistant straight pins (longer is better)

Fabric marking pen or pencil

Post-it notes/note pad & pen/pencil for taking notes

Clover clips (optional)

Requirements: Cancellation Policy Thank you for signing up for a class at Not Your Mama's Quilt Store. Due to the high number of late-notice cancellations, our cancellation policy has been updated: In the case that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel at least 5 days prior to class date for a FULL refund in store credit*. If you cancel 4 days prior to class, there is a 50% forfeiture fee deducted from your class fee. You may choose to transfer to another class if available, with a $20 transfer fee plus additional registration fee if applicable. If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your class fee is 100% forfeited. Transfer to another class is not available with less than a 3 day cancellation. *If you paid for a class via PayPal or Credit Card and later need to cancel, a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted to cover service fees charged by PayPal and the credit card processing company.
