- Pattern: Box Bottom & Bows Bag Pattern
- 30 assorted 5" squares
- 36" x 58" Soft and Stable
- 1 ½ yards coordinating fabric (bag bottom, lining, handles, ties)
- 1/4 yard fusible fleece (handles)
- walking foot for YOUR particular machine
- Matching thread for top stitching. This thread will show on the outside
- Basting spray or safety pins for quilting
- Basic Sewing Supplies:
6" x 24" ruler (or similar size)
Cutting mat will be provided.
Homework: Pre-cut and sew fabric as noted below (same as on pattern.)
5" Assorted Squares or Fabric:
If not using a charm pack, cut 30 5" squares.
Coordinating Fabric:
Cut (2) 5"x23" strips for the bag bottoms.
Cut (2) 5" WOF strips; sub-cut (4) 5"x20" pieces for bows.
Cut (1) 4" x WOF strip; sub-cut (2) 4"x20" strips
Reserve remaining fabric for lining (should have enough for two 22"x18" pieces)
Fusible Fleece:
Cut (2) 3"x20" strips for handles.
Soft and Stable:
Cut (2) 20"x25" pieces.
Sew three rows of 5 squares together for the front and back of the bag. You will have two panels that are 5 squares long by 3 squares tall. The nine squares in the middle are the front and back, the squares on either end are the sides. The pattern shows the direction for pressing your seams.

You may choose to transfer to another class if available, with a $20 transfer fee plus additional registration fee if applicable. If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your class fee is 100% forfeited. Transfer to another class is not available with less than a 3 day cancellation. *If you paid for a class via PayPal or Credit Card and later need to cancel, a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted to cover service fees charged by PayPal and the credit card processing company.
