Free Skill Session: Pillowcase
This skill class is free with the purchase of a pillowcase kit. This Pillowcase Make & Take is a great way to learn new skills, or a Mommy/Grandma and Me outing!
You will learn:
How to use the hotdog method of sewing on a cuff
How to sew a French Seam
Materials Needed:
Pillowcase Kit (includes all the fabric needed for one pillow)
Sewing Machine*
Rotary Cutter
Seam ripper
Thread
Snips or little scissors
Heat Resistant straight pins (longer is better)
Fabric marking pen or pencil
1/4" sewing foot (if you have it)
Long Quilting Ruler; we suggest 5" x 24" Omnigrid Edge Ruler

Cutting mats

Student should have a basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine and use a rotary cutter.
*If needed, the store can provide a basic machine for three students.
