We are excited to announce our new Bag Club series featuring Sallie Tomato's "Making Bags: a Field Guide"! This unique series spans five months, offering a monthly class and a boxed kit filled with all the supplies and tools you need to create the bag-of-the-month.
Join us each month to dive into a new bag project, guided by expert instructions and supported by a community of fellow crafting enthusiasts. Don't miss this chance to enhance your bag-making skills and create beautiful, functional bags with Sallie Tomato's expert guidance!
Month 4:
To continue to build your bag-making confidence, this medium-size tote has lots of room for storage thanks to the depth of the boxed corners. The addition of pockets makes this bag very functional for students, professionals, light travel, or everyday use. The Beginner Tote has been designed with similar steps as the Quilted Pouches so you can become more comfortable with the process.
With this project, build skills in fabric preparation, creating a front zipper pocket, attaching handles, easily installing a zipper, assembling the bag, and adding optional embellishments.
Bag Class requires the purchase of the Sallie Tomato, Making Bags - A Field Guide and Club Box 4.
You may purchase the Club Box without taking the class. Purchase just Club Box 4 Here.
If you don't have basic sewing supplies, you may consider purchasing Club Box 1.
| Requirements: | Cancellation Policy Thank you for signing up for a class at Not Your Mama's Quilt Store. Due to the high number of late-notice cancellations, our cancellation policy has been updated: All refunds are provided in the form of store credit. In the case that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel at least 5 days prior to class date for a FULL refund* in store credit. If you cancel 4 days prior to class, there is a 50% forfeiture fee deducted from your class fee. You may choose to transfer to another class if available, with a $20 transfer fee plus additional registration fee if applicable. If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your class fee is 100% forfeited. Transfer to another class is not available with less than a 3 day cancellation. *If you paid for a class via PayPal or Credit Card and later need to cancel, a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted to cover service fees charged by PayPal and the credit card processing company.
