Beginner Quilting 3.1 -- Flying Geese
Take your quilting skills to the next level in Beginner Quilting Part 3, where we tackle Flying Geese with confidence! You’ll learn how to make four Flying Geese at a time, trim them to perfect measurements, and use the Wing Clipper I ruler by Deb Tucker Studios to maintain an accurate ¼” seam. We’ll also focus on joining Flying Geese units while keeping those triangle tips sharp and intact. A great class for building accuracy and confidence in your piecing skills.

Use the Wing Clipper 1 ruler by Deb Tucker Studios to maintain perfect 1/4” seam allowance for piecing
Joining Flying Geese units and maintaining triangle tips.

Class Prep
Cut colored fabric into 18 - 10" x 10" squares (if you are using a layer cake you can skip this step)
From background fabric, cut 28 - 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" squares and 72 - 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" squares. See pattern, pg. 2 for cutting diagram

You may choose to transfer to another class if available, with a $20 transfer fee plus additional registration fee if applicable. If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your class fee is 100% forfeited. Transfer to another class is not available with less than a 3 day cancellation. *If you paid for a class via PayPal or Credit Card and later need to cancel, a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted to cover service fees charged by PayPal and the credit card processing company.
