Intro to Judy Niemeyer Quiltworx Paper Piecing Class with Michael Davison
Learn Judy Niemeyer’s organization and preparation techniques leading into the Quiltworx paper piecing method as we work on this fun set of Blue Moon Placemats (it’s just the name of the pattern - you can use any colors you like!) This workshop with Michael will take you through the basics of reading and understanding Judy’s patterns as well as the basic skills to tackle any Judy Niemeyer pattern. Have your fabric purchased prior to class.
You can purchase the Blue Moon Placemats pattern from Michael at the workshop at a discount or purchase elsewhere and bring with you. Many of the supplies can be purchased at Not Your Mama's Quilt store or michaelquilts.com.

You must have working knowledge of your sewing machine. If you don't know how to use your sewing machine you should sign up for the Intro to Sewing Class.
Requirements:
Cancellation Policy Thank you for signing up for a class at Not Your Mama's Quilt Store. Due to the high number of late-notice cancellations, our cancellation policy has been updated: In the case that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel at least 5 days prior to class date for a FULL refund. If you cancel 4 days prior to class, there is a 50% forfeiture fee deducted from your class fee. You may choose to transfer to another class if available, with a $20 transfer fee plus additional registration fee if applicable. If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your class fee is 100% forfeited. Transfer to another class is not available with less than a 3 day cancellation.

Michael Davison
Instructor Bio:
Michael Davison has been a quilter for almost 25 years. He started hand-dyeing fabrics and selling to quilt shops way back in the beginning. Then moved to longarm quilting and developing his own line of acrylic machine quilting rulers. With a love for all sorts of textiles, Michael's work covers a broad range of quilting techniques and fabrics. In addition to teaching custom machine quilting, his passion for teaching foundation paper piecing has been the focus for the past several years. He is a Quiltworx (Judy Niemeyer) Certified Instructor in training and keeps abreast of all the latest Judy Niemeyer techniques and patterns.
