Improv Log Cabin Class
Come for a fun day of exploring a variety of log cabin formats and transforming them using
basic improv techniques. By the end of the day, you will have created a 24" square, unique to
your improv log cabin. This square can be used as a jumping off point for the following week's
Deconstructed Log Cabin class. Intro to Improv class is a great prerequisite for this class,
though not required. A fun next step in your improv journey!
Learn to:
Create different formats of log cabin blocks using various improv quilting techniques.
Make a 24” square improv log cabin block in preparation for Deconstructed Log Cabin class

A variety (at least 12 but more is better) coordinating fabric strips, width of fabric x 2 1/2”-4” wide. Can be prints or solids or a mix according to your personal taste.
6” x 24” ruler
Rotary cutter with new blade
Neutral thread (gray or beige work well)

Cancellation Policy Thank you for signing up for a class at Not Your Mama's Quilt Store. Due to the high number of late-notice cancellations, our cancellation policy has been updated: In the case that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel at least 5 days prior to class date for a FULL refund. If you cancel 4 days prior to class, there is a 50% forfeiture fee deducted from your class fee. You may choose to transfer to another class if available, with a $20 transfer fee plus additional registration fee if applicable. If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your class fee is 100% forfeited. Transfer to another class is not available with less than a 3 day cancellation.
